We believe kids are capable of more than we give them credit for.
Lemonade Lab was built by parents and entrepreneurs who believe responsibility builds confidence and that learning only sticks when what you do actually matters.
Who we are
We are builders. Parents. Entrepreneurs.
We have built businesses, made mistakes, learned hard lessons, and seen what real ownership teaches far better than any worksheet ever could.
When we looked at how kids are being prepared for the future, something was missing.
Most systems teach kids to follow instructions.
Very few teach them how to create value.
Lemonade Lab exists to change that.
What we stand for
Trust before control
Kids grow when they are trusted. Structure matters, but ownership matters more.
Learning through consequences
Real outcomes teach faster than explanations. Wins feel earned. Mistakes build resilience.
Parents as partners
Freedom for kids does not mean hands off parenting. Oversight is built in, not bolted on.
No shortcuts
AI should support thinking, not replace it. There is no pay to win, no artificial advantage, and no gamed outcomes.
Why this matters now
The world kids are growing into will not reward compliance.
It will reward people who can think independently, adapt quickly, and create value.
We are not trying to turn kids into entrepreneurs.
We are helping them build judgment, confidence, and capability that will matter no matter what path they choose.
Our promise
We will always:
- Put kids long term development ahead of growth metrics
- Build safety and transparency into the platform by default
- Treat kids as capable, not fragile
- Respect parents as partners, not obstacles
Who’s behind Lemonade Lab
Lemonade Lab was founded by Dean Horsfield, an entrepreneur and parent who has spent his career building products where technology meets real world outcomes.
After years of building businesses and watching how kids are taught about work, money, and responsibility, he saw a gap between what kids are capable of and what most platforms allow them to do.
Lemonade Lab was built to close that gap with intention and restraint.
